ABOUT SUICIDE
What About SUICIDE?
Suicide means ending your own life. It is sometimes a way for people to escape pain or suffering or whatever their situation may be. When someone ends their own life, we say that they “died by suicide.” A “suicide attempt” means that someone tried to end their life, but did not die. Suicide ideation or thought means someone is thinking about ending their own life.
Thinking about suicide, worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support? There is someone waiting for your call right now.

We Can All Take Action
Evidence shows that providing support services, talking about suicide, reducing access to means of self-harm, and following up with loved ones are just some of the actions we can all take to help others. -
