Who Are We?
Better With You Alive (B.W.Y.A)
We are Better With You Alive (BWYA), a ministry on a mission to combat suicide. Our communities have recently faced a sharp increase in suicide; we have had lots of suicide-related issues and have lost great Soldiers, family members, and the civilian population to suicide alone in recent years. To increase effective preventive awareness in our communities, the Better With You Alive ministry has taken up the mantle to combat suicide by creating more effective awareness, proper understanding, and prevention of suicide in our communities.
BETTER WITH YOU ALIVE (B.W.Y.A) aims to address the lack of adequate preventive awareness of suicide prevention and intervention in our communities. We provide a simplified way of getting to know suicide, its effect, getting help for yourself and your buddy or family members, and getting involved in the war against suicide. Our goal is to provide hope to everyone in our communities and to consistently project the importance of their life, their presence, and how we are better with them alive.
We are on the mission to be the voice that is loudly saying to those having thoughts of taking their own life that, “Do not Harm Yourself, We Are All Here To Help” (Acts 16:28 ). We strive to prevent suicide via public awareness, education, direct and indirect help. We also provide available resources and programs to those touched by suicide.
Our Mission
To promote hope and prevent suicide in our community via public awareness, education,
direct or indirect help and available resources.
